Amarujala is one of the leading Hindi news providers catering to 60mn+ users across India. Amar Ujala publishes a daily 16- to 18-page issue, as well as supplements focusing on matters such as careers, lifestyle, entertainment, and women.StartxLabs built strategic Partnerships with Amar Ujala for TV application development.
Challenge
Taking Amar Ujala to the next level and reaching the TV audience it was required to have a TV app with impressive UI UX and access to live broadcasts from Amar Ujala. This would allow users to view any past news from any category in the future. Users can search as well to view their favorite broadcasted news and watch any time.

Solution

We set up a cloud infrastructure that was highly optimized and blazing fast to provide live streaming and hosting video content. The Android app is developed using Java language and made fully compatible to run on Amazon Fire TV.
